Dover Dedicates Downtown Clock

Mary Alice Reporting:

(Saturday, November 11th) Dover, Ohio – The City of Dover will have a new addition to the square this morning as a yearlong project comes to an end.

Dover Library Director Jim Gill explains it is a vintage post clock that represents the city’s history.

“It really captures the era of Dover as an old canal town. it will match all the bronze light poles that you see throughout all downtown Dover with the scroll old English D on there.”

The dedication of the clock is taking place this morning at 10am and everyone is invited to attend.

Total cost for the project was about $26,000 and the funding was raised through partnering organizations and fundraisers.
