She was employed by Gump’s Greenhouse, Freeport from 1994 until her health prevented her from working. She moved to Uhrichsville in 2008.
Her husband, James Clyde Woodson, died March 12, 2007. They were married August 6, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her step-dad, Emery Jackson; a half brother, Mark Ball, a step-brother, Emery Jackson and a step sister, Judy Love.
Surviving are three step-children: Jimmy Hayes, Matt Hayes, and Crystal Hayes; two step-grandchildren: Jason Hayes and James Hayes; two half-sisters: Regina Ball of Cleveland and Linda “Sissy” of Huntington, West Virginia; four half-brothers: Ronnie Jackson of Ohio, Donnie Jackson of Barbourville, West Virginia, Ricky Spivey of West Virginia, and Carlos Spivey of Las Vegas, Nevada; two step-brothers: Richard Jackson of Cleveland and James Jackson of Rossville, Georgia; four step-sisters: Mona Pennington of Cambridge, Bertha Duncan of Cleveland, Donna Horn of Cleveland, and Peggy Richards of Big Bend, West Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport with Pastor David Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport. Visitation will be held in the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m.
