Stark County authorities are continuing to investigate the discovery of a body near Beach City.
 
Deputies with the Stark County Sheriffs Office say they were called to a wooded area off of Welty Road around 7:30 Saturday evening after receiving reports from property owners that they had discovered a body.
 
Tuscarawas County Sheriffs Detective Captain Orvis Campbell says at this time, officials with the Stark County Coroners Office believe the body is that of 38-year-old Aaron Arney of Strasburg who was reported missing by his brother earlier this month.
 

 
Campbell says a gun was also discovered at the scene that had been reported missing from Arney’s apartment.
 

 
Campbell says Arney’s family has been notified.
 

 
Again, Campbell says additional DNA testing is to be conducted today.
