DD Awareness Month to be Observed Locally

The Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities will mark Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with a host of activities.

Superintendent Natalie Lupi says this month’s theme is “Look Beyond”.  She says the special events that have been planned for this month are intended to raise public awareness of the many abilities people have, regardless of disability.

Lupi says one event that the public can look for is a Community Report on TV2 that will air throughout March.  She says the report focuses on Imagine and what it means for individuals with disabilities.

Lupi says there are also plenty of other activities that will take place this month as well.

In addition, Lupi says the board will launch its redesigned website and first ever mobile app on the 18th
