David enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, fishing and being outdoors. He was the son of Raymond Sims and the late Shelva Hudnall Sims.
David is survived by his wife, Twana Squires Snider; two step-children, Nate and Alli; two sisters, Shelva (Donald) Irwin and Deana Carter; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clover Leaf Cafe at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds, Pastor Bob Jones will officiate.
