Ethelene was graduate of Tygarts Valley High School at Millcreek, W. Va.. A homemaker, she was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pythian Sisters, American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer for American Red Cross all of Beach City. She loved flowers, qilting, crocheting, taking pictures, cooking/canning and playing quitar with brothers and sisters and playing on Elkins radio with cousin Woody Simmons.
She was preceded by her husband, Charles H. Daniels, May 30, 2004; 1 son, Richard Yokum; siblings, Lionel, Jennings, Arley, Evelyn, Arlene and Geneva Surviving are 2 sons, David (Joyce) Yokum of Sterling Park, Va., Ronald Daniels of Beach City; 1 daughter Carmel (Jeff) Norris of Navarre; daughter in law, Paula Yokum of Poolesville, Va. and 1 brother, Russell Simmons of Dailey, W. Va., grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ethelenes life will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Pastor Orion Aubihl officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
