Tuscarawas County’s Coroner has officially identified the victim of a gas well explosion near Bolivar.
 
Dr. James Hubert says he’s determined the victim to be that of a 19-year old Stark County man. 
 
            
 
Sherman is believed to have been working at the site on State Route 212 just south of Bolivar when the explosion occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Monday.
 
State and local officials continue to investigate the cause of the blast. 
 
Hubert says it could take weeks before he is able to determine Sherman’s official cause of death. 
 
            
 
Services for Sherman will be held Friday in Canton.
