Dennison Depot Director Wendy Zucal says the award is presented each year in honor of Lucille Nussdorfer.
Zucal says there are five finalists who have been nominated for the award this year.
She says it takes a special kind of volunteer to be considered for nomination.
The winner of the Lucille Nussdorfer-Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year award will be announced on Thursday, October 11th at a banquet held at Bistro 131 in New Philadelphia which begins at 6:00pm and will be presented by Tracy Stevens, representing Dominion, the Presenting Sponsor.
