He was a charter member of the New Athens Buck Club, and was a retired Coal Miner, having worked at the Oak Park and Enlow Fork Mines.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother Samuel Eugene Dunlap.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Yvonne Kurucz Dunlap; 2 sons: Harold Dean (Michelle) Dunlap of Cadiz and Jerry (Ronda) Dunlap of Columbus; 3 grandchildren: Corey, Jeramey and Haley Dunlap; 2 aunts, Mary Ellen Goodrich of Cadiz and Anna Belle (Don) Watson of New Athens; a sister-in-law, Ann Dunlap of Cadiz; an uncle, Earl Junior Nash of Anderson, SC and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 27 from 2-5 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio.
