Born on September 21, 1924 in Uhrichsville, Helen was the daughter of the late Fred George and Edna Mae (Kinsey) Johnson.
Helen attended Uhrichsville High School and was employed at Valley Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Dennison. Helen enjoyed crocheting, needle point and baking.
On August 9, 1961, at the First United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville, Helen married Emery McKenny Weaver, who preceded her in death on September 7, 2009. In addition to her husband, Helen is preceded in death by a son Kenneth Eugene Weaver; sisters Cora Baldwin, Dorothy Rank, Mary Smith and Hazel LaVera Johnson; brothers George F., Ralph K, Glenn E., and Benjamin W. Johnson and caregiver Ray Waldron.
Helen is survived by a son Fredrick O. Weaver of the home and her caregiver Geraldine Waldron.
Funeral services for Helen will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville with the Pastor George Reichman officiating. Burial will follow at the Roxford Church Cemetery at Dennison.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home.
