An American Idol alum will soon be making her way to the 162^nd annual Tuscarawas County Fair.
 
Fair Board President Doug Wills says country singer Lauren Alaina will take center stage on Wednesday, September 19^th at 7:30pm.
 

 
The 17-year-old, Rossville, Georgia native, has captivated listeners with songs like her debut single “Like My Mother Does” and her current hit “Georgia Peaches.”
 
Wills says officials are thrilled to welcome Aliana to the fair.
 

 
Tickets for the concert are not yet available to the public. Wills, however, notes that this year’s fair will feature a new, convenient method to purchase tickets.
 

 
Wills says the online setup will be similar to that of the Kent State Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center and hopes to have the program complete in the near future.
