She was married July 9, 1954 to Myron R. Gorsuch, who preceded her in death on October 14, 1996. Martha was a member of the Amsterdam United Methodist Church. She was employed many years for Countryview Manor and earlier at Scio Pottery and was always a dedicated worker. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and meeting monthly with her card club friends.
She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Gorsuch and Douglas R. (Rebecca) Gorsuch both of Amsterdam; two grandchildren, Angela (Jarron) Fry of Carrollton and Zachary Gorsuch of Amsterdam; three great grandchildren, Noah, Landon, and McKenzie Fry; a sister, Eileen Kile of North Canton; brother, Charles (Marion) Roof of Amsterdam; sister-in-law, Clarice Gorsuch of Columbus; plus several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Faye Culler, and a brother-in-law, Harry Kile.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Pastor Wesley George officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
