Nancy attended New Philadelphia High School, and was a homemaker for most of her life. Best remembered for her duties as a crossing guard along East High Avenue, Nancy delighted in the relationships she developed with parents and young people alike. She took the time to get to know the names of the students, and looked forward to making their days special whether by a piece of candy, a treat at Halloween, or a special Valentine’s card. She was a member of the Tuscarawas County Senior Center and the ladies auxiliary of the New Philadelphia Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1445. Nancy will be remembered by her family as a wonderful cook and excellent homemaker and for her love of dancing and watching scary movies.
