OSU Extension Educator and Interim 4-H Director Chris Zoller says the directory comes in response to recent drought conditions across the state.
Zoller says the new website provides an opportunity for farmers to advertise the hay they have available for sale and says the site is easy to use and provides information about the quantity available for sale, the name and location of the seller and a description of the hay.
Locally, he says hay yields are down this year.
The new directory can be obtained by logging on to http://www.agri.ohio.gov/HayDirectory/
If you do not have internet access but would like to obtain a copy of the directory you can contact the extension office at 330-339-2337.
