News Position:
WTUZ Radio Inc. is searching for a news writer/reporter. This position will require the ability to gather news, then write and present “on air” news. The applicant must be able to attend meetings and news conferences, which may require some evening work.
Typing ability and good grammatical skills are a must. The applicant must be able to read and deliver a newscast fluently.
A degree is preferred.
Salary is determined by experience. WTUZ does offer benefits.
WTUZ Radio has been nominated twice for a Marconi Award and is the 2009 winner of a Crystal Radio Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for community service. WTUZ has also received numerous awards from the Associated Press including being named an AP Outstanding News Operation.
