Shelva J. Sims, 75, of Dover went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2012.
Shelva was a member of the Church of the Living God. She enjoyed going to family BBQ's, playing cards, traveling with her daughter and husband, putting together puzzles and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ray Sims; three children, David (Twana) Snider of Dover, Shelva (Donnie) Irwin of Somerdale and Deana Carter of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three sisters and five brothers.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 24 at 1:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park with David Carrick officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
