Annual College for Kids Program Offered at Kent State Tuscarawas

(Thursday, May 17, 2018) New Philadelphia, Ohio – A fun an exciting program is back again for kids wanting to go to college this summer.

College for Kids is a program offered at Kent State University at Tuscarawas each summer.

Kent State Business and Communications Services Representative Cindy Supers pointed out that there are a variety of classes for all ages.

“It’s for students who have completed Kindergarten through 3rd grade. We also will offer classes for those in 4th grade through 6th grade. And then this year will offer a class called Safe Sitter, which is actually a registered program for those in grades 6th through 8th.”

From web design and emergency room exploration to ninja warrior instructions and strategies to learning to live like the settlers of the Schoenbrunn Village, there are over a dozen classes for children to choose from. Morning and afternoon courses are available.

Participants who receive free or reduced lunches may apply for a scholarship to attend CFK.
