(Tuesday, November 14th) Wayne County, Ohio – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the community to give back to kids in need this holiday season.

Sheriff’s Captain Doug Hunter explained on December 9th they will hold a stuff the cruiser type event to collect toys in partnership with Toys for Tots.

“Something that we have been a part of for several years now,” said Hunter. “Gathering up toys for children in need here in Wayne County.”

Captain Hunter added they’ll be at Rural King most of the day, but noted if you can’t be there you can still make donations.

“Stop by the Justice Center anytime between now and that date and drop your toys off there,” explained Hunter. “We will see then that we get them to the proper location.”

Again, it’s all happening at Rural King in Wayne County on December 9th.
