BCC Students Qualify for International Competition

(Tuesday, April 17, 2018) Five Buckeye Career Center students have qualified for the International HOSA Leadership Conference. These students are members of the BCC HOSA Future Health Professionals.

They competed at the HOSA Ohio Leadership Development Conference April 10-11 in Columbus.

Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll says that these students represent a range of careers within their medical program.

“These students will be competing in an international competition. These students range from Exercise Science to Sports Medicine students to Pharmacy Technician students. All over the board in our medical program, so we’re really excited and proud of them.”

Junior Zoie Slutz (Conotton Valley), Joshua Hixon (Ridgewood), Mason McKeown (Indian Valley), Josh Shaffer (New Philadelphia) and Garrett Peters (Dover) will travel to compete in the international competition in Dallas, Texas in June.
