(Wednesday, February 7th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – Bond is set for a 37-year-old Dover man charged in the stabbing of another man in downtown Dover over the weekend.
Joshua Barron appeared for a video arraignment this week where New Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Nanette DeGarmo VonAllman set his bail at $250,000.
According to Dover Police Detective Captain, Chad Mower, the victim, 30-Nick Hershberger, was stabbed in the chest in the Dover Flea Market parking lot just around 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
“His spirits are well, although he is in a lot of pain and has a long road of recovery,” said Captain Mower.
Barron is currently being held in the Tuscarawas County Jail on a second-degree felony charge of Felonious assault.
He faces two to eight years in prison if convicted.
