Michele Spring Reporting:

(Monday, July 09, 2018) New Philadelphia, Ohio – Buckeye Career Center will host its annual mid-summer celebration at Tuscora Park on July 11th.

This fun and relaxing event is open to incoming and current students and their families.

Public Relations Coordinator Shyanne Carroll says this is especially a great experience for new students coming in next school year.

“And that is just a nice meeting ground for those students to get together and discuss plans for the upcoming school year and get to know each other.”

Families will be able to ride rides, play putt-putt, swim and eat for free during this celebration. Swimming will only be available from 5-7pm and rides will stay open from 5-8pm.

Those who plan to attend the festivities are asked to register from 4:30pm to 5:00pm at the Tuscora Park Amphitheater.

“At 5 o’clock we’ll have our Superintendent Bob Alsept and Principal Matt Fockler give just a brief welcome, let everyone know we’re excited to have them there and then we’ll release everyone to go have fun and enjoy the evening.”

Returning students are asked to show their Buckeye pride by wearing BCC apparel.

Families should RSVP to Sherry Cardani at 330-339-2288, extension 1207 or by emailing scardani@buckeyecareercenter.org.
