(Thursday, August 02, 2018) Dover, Ohio – The annual community Hospice Garage Sale is officially underway. After weeks of collecting donations, the sale begins at 3:00 pm Thursday at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds.

Today, August 2nd, the preview will continue until 8:00 pm. Previewers must pay the $5.00 admission for today only.

Fundraising and Events Coordinator Mona Sayre noted there will be quite a selection of goods for residents to shop.

“We’ve got lots of wonderful miscellaneous items, there are bicycles and sporting equipment, household goods, there is some beautiful furniture, lots of clothing, shoes, and purses. We even got some really nice store in Quality Corner this year from a gift shop that donated a bunch of stuff to us, and of course, jewelry.”

Sayre mentioned that a few big ticket items will be on hand for the auction as well.

“We have a two person kayak that just came in recently. And we have some Nascar tires that we are just confirming the drivers and the races they were involved in, so we’re hoping to have those just in time for the auction.”

New to this year’s event are the food trucks that will be on-hand such as Ross Mountain BBQ, Jack and Rich Fries, and Kurtz Family Foods.

The sale will continue into the weekend, Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
