Mary Alice Reporting:

(Thursday, October 11th) Uhrichsville, Ohio – In his first year of being on council, a member is reflecting on the first-half of 2018.

Eric Harmon launched his campaign for a council seat in Uhrichsville while still in high school.

He anticipates the rest of the year to run smoothly and to keep acting as a team with the other council members.

“We’ve worked together well, we’ve saved money, and in addition, we’ve expanded our police department to a nine-man department. That’s just a direct effect of saving money and being fiscally responsible.”

Harmon says it’s been a great experience so far and looks forward to the next three years of being an at-large council member.

“I’ve learned a lot working with different council members who’ve different views than me. I’ve been willing to compromise and at the end of the day, we’ve gotten the job done. It’s just continuing that effort to make Uhrichsville a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Harmon is on the park committee and points out the continued efforts needed for the basketball court, as well as the priority of fixing the roadway on Trenton Avenue.
