Michele Spring Reporting:

(Friday, June 8, 2018) Dover, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Transportation is advising motorists to find an alternate route when traveling on SR 39 from Dover to Sugarcreek.

Public Information Officer Lauren Borrell says delays will be expected to start Monday, June 11th.

“The contractor is going to begin making pavement repairs at the I-77 and SR 39 interchange in Dover and will continue this work through Sugarcreek.”

Borrell says work will take place Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm.

“Once the pavement repairs are completed we are going to move to nighttime hours so, all milling and paving will only take place during nighttime hours.”

Once the nighttime hours begin they will be from 7pm to 7am.

ODOT will maintain traffic with flaggers and reminds motorists to be patient until this project is complete.

The $1.8 million project is estimated to be finished by October 31st.
