Donna Lou Welsch – January 23, 2018

Donna Lou Welsch 91 of Dundee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at Union Hospital.

She was born January 13, 1927 in Dundee to the late S. Ray “Pete” and Nellie (Williams) Eash. She was a member of the Dundee Church of God where she served as pianist, singer, teacher, youth director and secretary-treasurer of the Ladies Ministries for many years. On October 22, 1949 she married James Welsch Sr. who passed away on September 6, 1987.

She is survived by her children Debbie (Ron) Yoder and Jim (Pam) Welsch, Jr. grandchildren Angie (Joe) Hamsher, Lisa Squires Long, Tami (Bill) Kaiser, Tim Yoder, Cristina Yoder, and Tim (Deena) Dellinger, great grandchildren Brendan, Catelyn, Brianna, Keldan, Lucas, Mikaela, Keith, Kyle and Timmy and beloved cat Puffy.  In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by her great grandson Kevin Yoder.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Dundee Church of God with Pastor Duane Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Church prior to Services.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
