Dover Reports Good Financial Standing

(August, 9th) Dover, Ohio – The mid-year income tax report for the City of Dover is at a good standing.

Auditor Nicole Stoldt explains year-to-date all of the city funds are maintaining except for the Electric Fund.

“It always is tight so we always just try to keep an eye on it. It’s down about $150,000 down from where we started at the beginning of the year, but it also has a budget of $13 million.”

Currently, the city remains on track for income tax collection to be around $8 million.
