Elvina Miller, 96, of Baltic, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home in Walnut Creek.
She was born in Holmes County on November 26, 1922 to the late Abe and Katie (Yoder) Troyer and married Levi E. Miller who died on November 11, 1982.
She owned and operated Millers Dutch Kitchen in Baltic from 1972-1980 and was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church.
She is survived by her children, Edwin (Clara) Miller of Baltic, Luella (David) Snyder of Millersburg, and Marvin (Dianne) Miller of Dover; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Yoder of Fresno and Clara Miller of Baltic; and sister-in-law, Fannie Troyer of Fresno.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Schneewind and Viola Costilla; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Thursday 1 hour prior to services all at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
