Nick McWilliams reporting – Residents in the city of Dover can now contact the city through email.

Mayor Rick Homrighausen announced to council the new program, which was implemented at the beginning of the month.

According to the mayor, the email system can be used to ask for numerous service requests by residents.

“Residents may setup an account from our website to login and request various services, such as brush pickup, curb-street tree-trimming, etc.”

Individuals can create a password-protected account and choose their service, which will be reviewed by the service department during business hours on Monday through Friday.

The service is not to be used for power issues or waterline breaks.
