Alzheimer’s Disease and Down Syndrome Educational Program
Alzheimer’s Disease and Down Syndrome Educational Program will take place on July 16th from 10am-11am at TuscBDD Service & Support Center. RSVP is required to attend this free event. RSVP to Chris Sapp by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 330.339.9769. This educational program is designed to address the topic of Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institute on Aging, many people with Down syndrome develop Alzheimer’s disease when they get older. By age 40, almost all people with Down syndrome have excess plaques and proteins which can increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s dementia.
