Johnson-Humrickhouse Down on the Farm-For Preschoolers and Our Town Stories “At Noon”

An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Thursday, repeating until November 21, 2019

Preschoolers (and their adult assistants) are invited to spend the day on the farm every Thursday in November (except Thanksgiving). Each week activities will focus on one event. Week one, we will answer the question “Why is Farming Important?” Week two we will become the farmers as we will plant our very own crop. Harvesting will be the topic for week three, with a corn cob craft to wow! Week four will focus on farming and animal care in the winter. Join us at 10am-11am on Oct 31, Nov 7th, 14th, and 21st. Also, Thursday, November 14th: Our Town Stories: Trash Wagons and Waste Removal will be the topic for their At Noon segment. These segments take place on the 2nd Thursday of the month at noon. December’s theme will be “Pearl Harbor”. Admission is free, Take your sandwich and make the most of your lunch hour. Beverages and cookies will be served. These programs are offered at no charge. The Johnson-Humrichhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village, a restored canal-era town sited along the former Ohio & Erie Canal, at 300 N. Whitewomen Street, Coshocton.
