Maple Days Breakfast hosted by Camp Tuscazoar menu will offer “all-you-can-eat pancakes”, eggs, sausage, applesauce, orange drink and samples of maple syrup. Meals will be served from 8 am – 1 pm both days, Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help defray the cost of equipment and supplies. The maple syrup production area will be open for tours and demonstrations and bottles and jugs of Camp Tuscazoar’s all-natural syrup will be available for purchase as well. Camp Tuscazoar will be listed as a stop along the Maple Madness Driving Tour again this year. This event, which is sponsored by the Ohio Maple Producers Association, connects maple syrup producers and consumers to educate people as to where and how pure Ohio maple syrup is produced. Tickets are $8/adults and $4/children 10 and under and can be purchased at the door. Transportation will be provided to and from the camp parking lot. The W. C. Moorhead Museum will also be open. It contains memorabilia dating from Camp Tuscazoar’s earliest days to the present. Boy Scout Road reopened this past year so visitors can once again take this route to the camp. The Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, Inc. is an Ohio non-profit corporation founded in 1986 for the purpose of purchasing, maintaining and perpetuating Camp Tuscazoar for use by scouts, church groups, school groups and other community youth organizations. Camp Tuscazoar is located on Tuscarawas County Road 83, two miles east of Zoar, near Zoarville.
