(Thursday, November 29th) Tuscarawas County, Ohio – Temperatures are projected to be above normal this winter, according to the National Weather Service.

Precipitation and slightly above normal snowfall is also expected throughout December, January, and February.

Tuscarawas County Emergency Management agency Director Alex McCarthy notes that the weather service predicts the overall snowfall could be around 20 to 25 inches.

“They also wanted to point out that even with the above normal temperatures that are projected, we still will see periods of both heavy precipitation and colder temperatures.”

The warmer temperature pattern is expected to cover most of the United States, including Ohio, through March.
