Helen Theresa Fawcett, 92, of Uhrichsville passed away on April 3, 2017 at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation. Born January 11, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Martin and Mary Magdalene (Horvath) Palian. Her surviving family included her sons, Jack Kinsey and Rick Fawcett; a grandson, Jamie Grezlik; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Kinsey, second husband, James Fawcett, sons, Gayle and Terry Kinsey and brothers, Stanley and Frank Palian; and sisters, Mary Staten and Rose Arnold.
Helen was a graduate of Uhrichsville High School and had worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell, Tusco Manufacturing, as a cake decorator for Rod’s Doughnuts, and Clayland IGA Bakery where she retired after 19 years. She was a member of the Uhrichsville Moose Auxiliary and Dennison Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and painting. She was protestant by faith.
Services for Helen, officiated by Pastor Brian Flood will be held on Monday April 10, 2017 at 1:30 pm at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be from 11:30am to 1:30pm (two hours prior). Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.
