(Thursday, August 9th) Coshocton County, Ohio – Sheriff Detectives are actively gathering information surrounding the death of a teenager in Coshocton County.
Sheriff’s Office Lt. Dean Hettinger explains that Samuel Walters, of Coshocton, was initially reported missing July 28th in the area of U.S. 36 and County Road 495.
“Was found in our area on [August 3rd] and at this point, we’re waiting for official results from the [Coshocton County] Coroner’s office; however, we do not anticipate any foul play at this time.”
Walters was located in a pond on the private property Friday evening around 8:35 pm.
Results are pending from an autopsy and could take up to three months.
No further information is being released in the on-going investigation.
