Jeffrey Allen Lowery, 52, of New Philadelphia died unexpectedly on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Schoenbrunn Health Care Center in New Philadelphia.
Born on November 23, 1964 in Dennison, he was the son of Frank (Josephine) Lowery and Phyllis (Bruce) Dorsey.
Jeffrey was a talented chef who worked at many restaurants in the community including; ; Fly Boys, Guiseppe’s, and Jerry’s Restaurant.
On September 7, 2005 he married Patty Heubner, who resides in New Philadelphia.
In addition to his parents and wife, Patty, he will be sadly missed by his three sons; Jerrell Jones of New Philadelphia, Jeffery Jones of Canton, Jace Lowery of Canton; along with seven daughters, Jakarra Lowery of Pennsylvania, Tasia Lowery of Columbus, Aummonie Lowery of East Liverpool, Tara Raskey of New Philadelphia, Tiffany Mells of New Philadelphia, Tiana Jones of Canton, and Tequila Jones of Indiana; 20 grandchildren; paternal grandfather, Curtis Johnson; his sister, Natalie (Dennis) Adams of Canton; three brothers, Bruce D. (Victoria) Lowery of Greenville, NC, Frank Lowery of Chicago, IL, Chris (Jada) Lowery of Houston, TX; special cousin, Arthur “Bucky” Smith of Dover; along with his step-sister, Pam; and four step-brothers, Barry, Bill, Mitch, and Wes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother; Thelma Johnson, and maternal grandparents, Fred and Norene Kelker.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will take place at 1:00 with Pastor Anthony Robinson Sr. and Minister Lee McBride officiating. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
