Katie Schlabach 73 of 2638 TR 162 Baltic died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Aultman Hospital in Canton after a period of declining health.
She was born November 22, 1943 in Holmes County to the late Moses and Mattie (Raber) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roman Schlabach whom she married October 31, 1968; her children Daniel (Linda) Schlabach of the home, Ivan (Linda) Schlabach of Apple Creek, Edwin (Diana) Schlabach of Sugarcreek, Noah (Mary) Schlabach of Wooster, Christ (Susan) Schlabach of Millersburg, Martha Schlabach of the home, Mose (Danielle) Schlabach of Coshocton and Aden (Jessica) Schlabach of Fresno; 26 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; her brothers Noah (Lydia Ann) Miller of Sugarcreek and Christ (Mary) Miller of Baltic; her sisters Sarah (Ben) Miller of Sugarcreek, Mary Miller of Baltic and Anna Miller of Dundee and sister-in-law Elsie Miller of Millersburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Lester and daughter Esther, 2 sisters-in-law Amanda Miller and Sara Miller and a brother Henry Miller.
Services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Alan J. Miller Residence 2599 SR 557 Baltic with Bishop Robert Barkman officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery in Clark Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the Schlabach Residence.
