Kyle James “Jim” Parrish – November 27, 2017

Kyle James “Jim” Parrish, 58, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison, after a lengthy illness. Born December 26, 1958 in Dennison, he was a son of Alonzo W. and Mary O. (Mahaffey) Parrish of Uhrichsville.

On January 21, 1978, Jim married Brenda S. (Wallace) Parrish who survives him at their home. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by sons, Kyle Jr., Kasey and Khristopher Parrish; grandchildren, Abbi Cox and Emma, Brett, Aly and Bri Parrish; former daughter-in-law, Jolene Parrish; siblings, Kathy (George) Striker, Karla Morrison, Kelly Parrish and Kaye (Don) Greenwalt; brothers- and sisters-in-law, John Wallace, Penny (Dwight) Myers, Tom (Sherry) Wallace and Phillip (Sherry) Wallace ;numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; his dog, Kocoa; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alonzo Parrish Jr., and sister- and brother-in-law, Isla and George Jahns.

Jim was a lifelong area resident who had been employed by Handy & Harmon, Demmer Hardware and Rockford Mills Furniture. He was an avid fisherman and attended Bethel Worship Center in Uhrichsville.

Pastor John Stevenson will officiate a 1:00 p.m. service on Thursday, November 30, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. According to his wishes, Jim became a proud organ and tissue donor so that through his death, someone else may have a better life.
