Lee Pearch-Gilmore, 89, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. Born December 30, 1928 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Everett Boyd and Clara Amanda (Edie) Robson.
Lee was a 1946 graduate of Uhrichsville High School before beginning her career as a service representative for Ohio Bell. After her retirement from Ohio Bell in 1983, she continued to work until she was 75, enjoying the years that she spent working for Jeff Patterson at Patterson’s Flooring. She was a member of Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church.
On September 21, 1973, she married Dean Douglass Gilmore who preceded her in death. She is survived by four children, J (Juliann) Pearch, Kelly (Kathy) Pearch, Mandy (David) Aldergate, and Lindy Pearch; stepchildren, James R. “Randy” (Becky) Gilmore, Gordon (Wanda) Gilmore, and Christopher (Karen) Gilmore; and many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were dear to her.
In accordance with Lee’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. She will be interred in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery with a private, family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, 3 Columbus Circle, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10019. Lee’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Homestead Unit at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar for the excellent care they provided.
