Lizzie J. Yoder 90 of 54112 TR 85 Baltic died Monday, April 3, 2017 at her residence following a period of declining health.
She was born October 13, 1926 in Holmes County to the late Jeff N. and Amanda (Shetler) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was married on January 11, 1949 to Mose A. Yoder who died on April 4, 2013.
She is survived by her 8 children Ervin (Dena) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Andrew (Fannie) Yoder of Millersburg, Abe (Susan) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Ivan (Viola) Yoder of Fredrickstown, Sara (Valentine) Hershberger of Dundee, Cora (Gid) Yoder of Millersburg, Fannie (Wayne) Miller of Sugarcreek and Amanda (Robert) Miller of the home, 48 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, sisters Fannie (Roman) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Sarah Troyer and Lydiann (Lester) Miller both of Millersburg and Mae Miller of Hartville and brothers Melvin Miller and Alvin (Esther) Miller both of Baltic and Jacob (Edna) Miller of Wisconsin. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by 2 grandchildren Mark Yoder and Esther Yoder, her great granddaughter Jennifer Yoder, her brother Eli J. Miller, her sister Mary Ann Miller and 5 in-laws John J. Miller, Roy S. Miller, Mattie Miller, Linda Miller and Gideon B. Troyer.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Mahlon Raber Residence 53878 SR 651 Baltic with Bishop Emanuel H. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery in Crawford Twp., Coshocton County. Friends may call anytime at the Mahlon Raber Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
