Local Lawyer Among Those to be Honored by State Bar Association

(Monday, November 13th) Canton, Ohio – The President of the Ohio State Bar Association will be in Canton this week to honor several area attorneys including one from New Philadelphia.

Randall Comer, 2017-2018 OSBA President will address the OSBA District 14 Annual Meeting at the McKinley Grand Hotel in Canton on Wednesday, November 15th.

District 14 includes more than 600 attorneys who practice in Tuscarawas, Carroll and Stark Counties.

For 65 years of practice and service to the profession, John R. Milligan and Earl C. Sheehan, both of North Canton, will be honored.

And Joseph Tripodi of New Philadelphia is among five that will be recognized for 50 years in practice and service to the profession.

Also receiving recognition in that category include Charles Brown of Alliance, Phillip D. Schandel of Massillon and Fred Haupt and Sean Keenan, both of Canton.

The Ohio State Bar Foundation will also present its Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under to Stephan P. Babik of North Canton.

The meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m., and will include the election of a member to serve on the OSBA Board of Governors and members to serve on the OSBA Council of Delegates, with the terms commencing on July 1, 2018.
