Mary Alice Reporting:
(Thursday, May 10th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – A 21-year-old will spend time in prison on a felony charge.
Tuscarawas County Assistant Prosecutor Amanda Miller explains Joshua Dupler was charged with an arson in 2017 involving a home with three apartments.
“Dupler set a fire in a vacant apartment in a house that also contained two other apartments which were both occupied. We’re grateful that the fire was seen early by another resident and that everyone was able to escape before it became a tragic situation.”
He was sentenced on an aggravated arson charge, a 5th-degree felony, this week to five-years in prison.
