Man Sentenced on Separate Charge

Mary Alice Reporting:

(Thursday, March 8th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – A 29-year-old currently serving a two-year community corrections sentence receives another sentence on other charges.

Tuscarawas County Assistant Prosecutor Amanda Miller says that Robert Gray was sentenced in February on a 2017 theft case.

She explains the recent sentence stems from July 2017.

“He was charged with burglary and theft and theft of a firearm from a crime which he committed with his co-defendant Blaine Gambs.”

Gray was ordered Wednesday to attend Stark Regional Community Corrections.

“Where he will stay for another four-months and undergo treatment and then he will be released on community control sanctions with 36-months reserved.”

This will be served concurrently with his previous sentence.

Gambs was sentenced earlier this month to an 18-month added prison term which was reserved with community control supervision.
