Marcia Craw, 82, of Dover, and formerly New Philadelphia, passed away following an extended period of declining health at Oak Pointe Healthcare in Baltic on Saturday, December 4, 2021. .
She was born on April 6, 1939 in Marietta, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Thomas D. and Navada (Hill) Coen. Marcia married Carl Craw on June 30, 1973, he passed on September 24, 2014.
Marcia was a homemaker and formerly had worked at General Telephone in New Philadelphia and NASA in Washington, DC. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross and attended the Bible Baptist Church in Dover. She is survived by her son Thomas (Lisa) Craw of Dover and a sister, Mary V. Crone of Texas. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Irene Zimmerman.
A public graveside service will be held in East Avenue Cemetery, New Philadelphia on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Doug Kilchenman. Smith-Varns Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
