Marilyn A. Robinson, 88, of Dover and formerly of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Born on July 27, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Elson and K. Idabel (Horn) Egler.

Marilyn graduated from Dover High School with the class of 1952.

She was married to Adrian “Robby” Robinson for 29 years before he preceded her in death on January 5, 1987.

In 1996, she retired from Union Hospital. She was an executive secretary in several areas of the hospital for over 30 years.

She was a longtime member of the First Moravian Church in Dover where she enjoyed volunteering until her health declined.

Marilyn leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law; Scott and Kim Robinson of Dover; her grandchildren, Kathleen “Katie” E. (Jeremy) Bible of North Ridgeville; and Andrew M. Robinson of Pittsburgh; along with great-granddaughter Abigail Bible and she was expecting another great- granddaughter in May.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory of Dover on Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 4-7 pm. A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 11:00 am with Pastor John Wallace officiating. Friends can call one hour prior to the service on Friday.
