Marlene A. Pipher, 60, of Dennison, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born May 27, 1957 in Olney, Illinois, she was a daughter of Mary Irene (Anderson) Pipher-Hatcher and the late Emery Albert Pipher.
Marlene is survived by her children, Samantha (companion, John Kidd) Koon and Chad Hemrich; grandson, Caleb Stansbery; siblings, Shirley, Donna Brenda, Karen and Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.
After earning her Master’s degree, Marlene worked in quality control at the Dollar General Distribution Center near Zanesville.
Services, officiated by Pastor Michael O’Guin, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. A private, family graveside service will be held in Liberty Cemetery near Uhrichsville at a later date. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
