Mary D. “Bill Mary” Miller, 93, of 2611 TR 410, Millersburg died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Walnut Hills Nursing Home following a period of declining health for the last 1 ½ years. 

She was born in Millersburg on June 30, 1925 to the late Dan N. and Rebecca (Keim) Miller.

Mary was known for her bread baking at Der Dutchman Restaurant for many years and was a member of the Amish Church.

She married William H. Miller on November 24, 1953 and he was killed in a coon hunting accident in September of 1962. 

She is survived by her four children, Allen Miller of Millersburg, Galen Miller of Hampton, GA, Linda (Wayne) Miller of Millersburg and Leon Miller of Winesburg; 3 grandchildren, Heidi Ann (Mark) Hamsher, Amy Lynn (Oliver) Yakley, and Rebecca Joy (Chris) Miller; five great grandchildren, Ryan, Sophia and Madelyn Hamsher, Emmy Lou Yakley and Lilly Kate Miller; she was known as Gramma Mary” and she dearly loved her three granddaughters and five great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Anna Chupp of Winesburg and Katie Miller of Millersburg; brothers, Roy Miller of KY and Moses Miller of Wooster; sisters-in-law, Emma Miller, Mabel Miller, Shirley Miller, Liz Wilson and Katie (Eli) Miller of Fredericksburg. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ervin, Wyman, Jonas, Dan and Abe Miller; brothers-in-law, Dan Chupp, John E. Miller, Howard Cramer, Jake Miller and Eli Miller; and sisters-in-law, Mary Miller, Susie Ann Miller, Dena Miller, Ann Cramer and Mary Shetler.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at the Steve Miller residence on Township Road 410, Millersburg with Bishop Michael Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery in Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County.  Friends may call both Monday and Tuesday after 2:00 PM at the Steve Miller residence.  Arrangements are with Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
