New Deputy Director at ODOT District 11

(Wednesday, March 7th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – A 32-year Ohio Department of Transportation veteran is stepping into the role as Deputy Director for District 11.

Roxanne Kane, from Bolivar, is taking over for Lloyd MacAdam at the New Philadelphia office and says she has spent most of her career in District 11 in a variety positions, including the environmental coordinator and the Local Public Agency coordinator.

“Been around, had a lot of different roles so I pretty much understand the district, what are issues are [and] and how things are done. I do know the people here at District 11 and that will help a lot.”

Kane graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Petroleum Engineering, and notes in her new role, that she looks forward to continuing ODOT’s mission.

“To provide easy movement of people and goods from place to place and we have this seven county area and we’re going to continue that mission.”

MacAdam has made the move to Columbus as Assistant Director for Policy and Chief Engineer for ODOT.
