New Philadelphia Post Trooper Receives Recognition

(Friday, December 1st) New Philadelphia, Ohio – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Mason Hale is being recognized as the 2017 Trooper of the Year at the New Philadelphia Post.

Officials note in a press release that the 27-year-old was chosen for his outstanding service throughout 2017.

Fellow New Philadelphia Post officers and dispatchers selected Hale based on his leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Hale joined the Highway Patrol in 2013 and has served at the New Philadelphia Post. He is originally from Canton and a 2009 graduate of Perry High School and also studied at the University of Akron.

Hale currently resides in Canton with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters.
