(Friday, August 10, 2018) Newcomerstown, Ohio – Last year a shelter at Cy Young Park in Newcomerstown was hit by a tree that resulted in the shelter being removed.
Newcomerstown Mayor Pat Cadle said that those shelters are in high demand reconstruction of a new shelter was needed.
“We have such a demand for the shelters, the bigger shelters down below the pool, that we felt we needed to another medium sized. The other one only had six to seven tables, this one will hold ten to fifteen.”
These shelters will be available for rent once construction is completed next month.
