(Tuesday, November 27th) Ohio – Tuscarawas County came in third out of 70 counties during the state’s fall turkey season.

Hunters bagged 1,117 wild turkeys during the fall season from October 13th through November 25th.

The leading county was Coshocton with 52 turkeys harvested compared with 54 from 2017.

Hunters had a successful year in Guernsey County with 41 birds bagged.

Tuscarawas County turkey’s hunters totaled 40, a major increase from 2017 when 25 wild turkeys were harvested.
